Loose

At the weekend, I was set free
a bird on her hen party
off she flew to Kilkenny
she was let outta her cage
pink feathers and sashes all the rage
this hen was born for joy
flirting and dancing with many a boy
I'm afraid she still can't sing
earplugs, people, bring
I thought from attention I would fly
but love and friendship carried me high
this hen definitely could cluck
of many a drink she partook
I'm afraid to look at facebook

* written after my hen weekend last year just a bit o'fun x
