~ Losing You ~
The red hot flames of losing you
Would sear my soul unjustly
To receive such a wound
Would stop my heart abruptly
And tear asunder a love so strong
That the rumblings felt
Would cause the walls of the world
To come crumbling down the wintery hills
Of morning's glory
No sun would bathe the flower gardens
No waters would roll down mountainsides
The world itself would feel the burden
Of the cavern left where you once were
The resonance of your lingering words
Would be carried forever on the songs of birds
Your name would change the children's smiles
Into that which could not be reconciled
For it is in the intangible parts of your presence
Where the light of faith and purity reveal an essence
Of the divine nature of man's most prized credentials
The elusive, light of love, and its true potential
To search within, for that which created all things
Or to die trying for the enlightenment it brings
But if, in this noble pursuit, I'd wind up losing you
I'd stop the world
For this, is the one thing,
I simply
Could, not, do...

Haha..Yes everything is good in Lorna land, I think the best ones usually write themselves as they're the ones that come to you right in the moment, the feelings are raw rather than looking into the past at a memory that changes your interpretation..I've been trying to get back into it all again but finding the flow has been difficult

Love and loss go hand in hand, both are the heartbreaking in there own poetic way.
