Lost ?

She had lost her sense of who she was in a misplaced memory
Nor could she recall her husband who died in bravery
Poor soul didn’t even know her daughters who called in every day
“Who the heck are you pair” 
Hilda used to say

Gone was that caring cuddle from their Mother at the door
Nowadays she kept her distance as she stood uneasy on the floor
Senile dimensia had taken it’s toll 
Lately it had got much worse
The sister’s had to make every day special
That was the advice from the nurse

So her daughter’s tried their utmost to treat her like a queen
But things always were mixed and muddled up if you know what I mean
Both of her daughter’s dreaded the day that had to be
Coz they doted on their dearest Mother with the greatest of respectability
