Lost

I've seen summer days 
Turn cold like frost 
Something gained often lost 
Lines you never thought to cross 
Now painted over pretty gloss 
All those morals, goals and plans 
Grains beneath a million sands 
I find myself in tiny shards 
Shuffled up in playing cards 
Sometimes tumbled often tossed 

Still confused and ever lost
