Lost a love

I danced with an angle one day

She held my hand and showed me how to love the stars 

Play in the pebbles and paint rainbows 

She shone and enhanced my light 

Helped me smile for a while 

I tried to keep the dark clouds at bay 

Tried to hold the sun up so we could play 

When we were apart the rain would pour 

Dark clouds come over and I'd dive for a cave 

Hide and be distant 

Sit in the dark 

The angle would search for the light in my eyes 

But the fire went out 

And I'd distance some more 

I danced with an angle 

I pushed her away 

The dark clouds took over 

And she danced away 

The angle is with me 

She dances in my heart ,my memories are strong 

Now she is distant and dances alone
