Lost and found...

Depression carries the question,
What's the matter with you?
If I knew that, I would be happy
Wishing to smile is an obsession
If only I knew how too
This person has a dark reality
Lost and found
Lonely but proud
Ups and downs
Music is my sound
It's a struggle
Trying to find yourself
In a moving world
I've lived in the past
Wandered in shadows
And it's a dying curse
I'm forging myself
Into a plastic society
Only to feel
I should be true
To myself and live
For something real
Lost and found
Lonely but proud
Ups and downs
Music is my sound
I'm always trying
To fill the silence
In an awkward room
No matter how much I try
I still look like
The scared little fool
I need music now
More than ever
In this cold
Dark December
Piece by piece
I'm still trying
To know myself
Of how I remember
Lost and found
Lonely but proud
Ups and downs
Music is my sound
I close my eyes
I can hear
It's so profound
I maybe lost, alone
But music and me are found...

Dear Poet Brother WAYNE!!....... there is much about this piece that meets the reader somewhere in that place where speech patterns reach the psyche..... like a teacher of positive affirmations......I think it may be in the rhythmic value of your delivery here... and the repetition of particular lines that carry above average value to the subconscious mind!!....... "Music is my sound" ~ "I need music now"........BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED BROTHER!!....... Tons-o-STARS!!.......LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T xo ???✴?

Music has kept me from leaving this world, unfortunately my ears are falling in silence and my mind confused as to why Chester Bennington took his life, RIP CHESTER. Great write Wayne.
Very true Gerard, I'm still struggling with the passing away of Chris Cornell, I find it so complex to even try to understand but instead I sympathise with all their loved ones around, thank Gerard ?
