Poem -

Lost and Found

I remember when you found me
I was stood alone inside a crowd.
I know the place was loneliness.
Dressed in black in the hot desert
Burned by the suns heat
Thirsty for love so thirsty

Then a deluge of soft rains
Cool and inviting an oasis
I was drenched to my skin
In the glow of your smile

Had you been searching for me?
Did you know it was me?
When you smiled
At the sad man in black
Inside a crowd of dark people.
Had you been searching forever
As I had waited for always.
To find your heart
Beating in tune with mine.
