Lost at Sea

Lost at Sea

If I were ship I'd hold
No bearing,

For the one I love
Is no longer caring,

Her silence is brutal
A storm ravaging the seas,

My berth is my heart
It creaks, it weeps,
It begs please,

Why was I foolish in my voyage,
Why did I sail into this storm,

My words were like wind cool,
Blasting, cold and scorned

And thunder the only sound,

A lighthouse in the mist,

How I long for her warmth
Her touch, her kiss,

My words were unruly,
Naive and without thought,

So now I'm a man,
A ship,
Without bearing,
Without port...

Hi Jordan,

The "Phillip Nolan" of the man without a love.  I'm rooting for this writer to come out of the storm, and find new love in a sunny port.  A thought provocative write, with parodies.  Very nicely done!

Peace and Love,

xox Larry
