There's beauty in us
Like a rose in bloom
Emerging in the sunlight
Steadfast to become what our creator intended
Destined to be beautiful
Baby, I never fell in love with you 
Not this time
Because I never fell out of love
Not for a single day in all those years
Some memories fade
Some last forever
Like feelings I guess
They just sit somewhere
Quietly controlled, restrained, buried 
Now very awake and in bloom

Alive and excited
Longing for more

Mirrored in the rose 
Beautiful, pure and unstoppable 
Yet that single softly scented flower is now nearing its end
Alas to be perfectly replaced by more blooms
More beauty
Nature would never allow something so beautiful to die
Just like our love ❤️
No longer do I stress or fear
Of what might be
Instead I have contented smiles
Daytime brings thoughts and dreams
Darkness brings reality
Its brings us home 
Hand delivered with the moon and stars 
Oh how my life has changed
I missed you for so long
The emptiness echoed through my bones
But now, now we are almost complete
You are my whole world baby
We're still torn by circumstances
Locked into safe distant intimacy
A struggle so worthy of the fight
Each other just slightly out of reach
Protected by the thorns of the rose
But when the time is right 
When the thorns drop
