Love Is
Love is not chocolate on February 14th
It is a burning anger in your chest
Resting into a pool of cool liquid.
It is an unsettled, self-righteous mind
Stilled by the truth that we are all broken vessels.
It is a contrite demeanor coupled with soft words
Of redemption.
