Love Matters

What would happen to the world
If we deleted hate from existence?
What would life be like?
To delete hate not only erases the hate
From one person to another.
But it erases the hate from one person,
To themselves.
Imagine a the world without SELF hatred.
A world where people are free to be who they are.
And I mean who they truly are.
Not who they pretend to be, 
Because pretending to be someone you aren't
Implies you think people would hate the real you.
The struggle with gender identity,
And sexuality wouldn't even be an issue. 
And we would just be happy that everyone else is happy.
No more greed, because greed can turn to hatred.
No more language used just to put people down.
Yes, there are a lot of pros to a world without hate,
But hardly anyone thinks of the cons.
Love is a derivative of hate.
In a world without hate, there can be no love.
We need love to make us whole.
And if hatred goes out the window then,
We would have no need to be loved,
From another person.
And that's what love is all about.
Sharing.
So, while I do think it would be great,
To have a world of no hate.
I also think that love is more important.
Because love exists to balance out the hate.
Love is what really matters.
