Love Of An Angel
A disillusioned soul not seeing lifes meaning,
From burden of a broken heart I was reeling.
Struggling through each day without a care,
Consumed by sadness any find hard to bear,
Hope gone love would come again to raise me,
Lost to acceptance of an emotional catastrophe,
Loneliness and bitterness as sure companions,
My world was defined by minimal expectations.

Just as I felt there's no escaping a desolate path,
At my lowest an angel came illuminating this earth.
Intent on totally restoring all that I had relinquished,
Re-establishing belief and confidence I long missed,
Releasing me so easily from the chains of torment,
My angel delivered a return to blissful contentment.
We're bound in union by what makes life worth living.
I am so thankful for receiving the greatest blessing.

I know exactly where you're comingfrom, for I have had three angels that have come into my life, and shown me the light. It always seems to happen when one is least expecting it, having committed to a life of loneliness and despair. Then all at once the darkness becomes light, the sadness becomes laughter, then the heart and soul become whole once more! Very beautiful write.
