Poem -

Love that burns

The flower stood there small yet strong
Looking up to the sky
The wind was blowing and the sun grew warm
While those rays danced around itĀ
Stillness around it as the ground ran dry.
The flower cried.

Will I love you , that I will
as long as as you burn the sky
As long as the moon shimmers above
Brightening the darkened sky
Until the blue seas become calm and dry
I will love you , until the end of time.Ā

Those pedals falling one by oneĀ
The flower felt its endĀ
It called out to its lord and cried
Will I be lonely , will you be lonely
But the sun would never cry
