TO LOVE, FROM WHISKEY

TO LOVE, FROM WHISKEY

Dear love,

Without you my existence would have been a bore,
Sitting in a bar self i see those desperate souls,
As i feel there cups and run down there throat,
A broken heart with tears that roll,
They speak to me with pains in there soul.

The stories they tell and the song they sing
Touches my heart and happily i tend to calm their souls.
Sometimes i stop to wander what a devil you are,
To do such a terrible thing to the poor soul
But when i hear their stories i adore you even more.

Your beauty is mysterious,
And so is your grace
Your power is divine and when one falls for you
You even tell it to them on their face,
Every time you rip their heat and tear down their soul
You smile back at them and say, “I told you so.”

I here sit alone waiting for another broken soul,
To hold their heart and mend their souls,
Now you see my love that i wouldn’t have existed
If you wouldn’t have achieved your goals.

So i thank to you for what you do,
For i would have been nothing without you.
