LOVE WHO YOU ARE

Love who you are not what people want you to be
Remember they only see what they want to see
Don't be bothered if you wear different socks
Who cares if your conversation is unorthodox 

You are who you are and its okay not to conform
As long as you're polite and you're heart is warm
Don't ever be rude and never be offensive too 
The rest as far as I can see is really up to you 

Several years ago you'd be in a category for life
A man would have two kids and a lovely wife 
How things have changed I think for the better
Gone are the days of the pen and the letter
