The way you kiss my fore head,
 the way your eyes shine.
All my life I never knew,
what I would feel when it was time.
I put my walls up; but you crumbled them to bits.
You put the bandage on my heart, kissing it with your lips.

I never knew how strong it would feel,
I feel so alive.
If I could go back years,
to tell me it would be fine.
I may have gave you a better shot,
I wouldn't hide what you eventually got,
my heart came crashing towards yours,
and you caught me.

You make me laugh,
you make me smile.
You tell me that I'm worth while.
You never hurt me once you see.
I can't understand why your so good to me.
Why I was scared,
I'll never know.

You took down my walls,
and opened my world wide.

I saw the colours like never before.
Varying shades of grey,
now more vibrant than before.
You wiped the tear stains from many years ,
and showed me the beauty and,
much much more.
