Poem -

LOVED

(Only within the eyes of an animal do I find my true essence)

On a garden
Where the grass still grows
A freshly new filled grave
And a lavender
To weep its scent
Come spring

And on a nearby day
A child might play
On the daisied grass
Where a love doth lay
With a lavender
To weep its scent
Come spring

And on a nearby eve
In a paling sun
The leaves might fall down
One by one
On a lavender
That will weep its scent
Come spring

And a chair might sit
On the winter days
By a new filled grave
Where a love doth lay
With a lavender
To weep its scent
Come spring

Beautiful tribute, a scent brings such powerful memories and each season has it's own struggles when dealing with loss
you really captured this perfectly

A touching homage bestowed Marion and for one that is evidently missed and clearly never forgotten and those memories are the ones that count.
The treasured ones my friend.
