Lover's Laugh

Running away through the clouds
Where happiness is found
Laughter rings high
Supplying true love
That wickedly beautiful sound
The one you can't seems to live without
Muffled at times by greedy kisses
Your own pressed so firmly
Trying to taste it's bliss
Rumbling passion claims
Peace is found again
Hoping it doesn't end
Get torn away again
No, not again
Soaring through time
Wishing to touch those
heavenly lips once more
Drag them down to land
Where life began
Prove they can
But what waits
Is a devastating crash
Stone cold winds
Stirring the embers
That still burn
Setting a heart to numb
Will it ever come
Will there always be this hole
That once was love
So deep and solid
It strikes like a bat
To the chest with a smack
Leaving lungs unable to reset
Can't even breath without it
Without them
Without their touch
Their succulent taste
Soft yet strong embrace
How can another even fathom to replace
What was in this empty place
Always, another will come in second place
For it is the wicked witchy laughter
That the heart is after
