Lover's Letter Of Mending

Lover's Letter Of Mending

Dear J,
Sweet sour lover,
Mother, barer and giver of flesh,
When I see your face in mind
I hate the way it blinks out of existence
In time, fading towards forgettable death.
Souls once connected slip away- losing touch
That I fear the fall from your hand will spoil
Me much, and I will waste away shallow as such; as sinners embrace the promiscuous
Lustily lover's clutch. I hope my letter finds
Your thoughts and you reply with forget me
Nots, For we have seen and said to many ends
That scramble minds, dance on tongues, as it circles it's way back around again. Please know as words come and go this is love and no excuse, and the worst is shattering future of a mending heart if you refuse. I remain true
troubled and blue for the answer carrier pigeon text that I flew.

With all heart and heavy soul,
Your beloved, provider forever if, and lover
waiting on his gift,

D.
