Lucid nightmare
Turning off the conscious thought, anxiety was all I gotÂ
The bedroom walls contort and talk and ask what’s caused my mind to rot.Â
Drifting off oh so subtly…
Mind does nothing but muttering…
I’m stuttering in my routine, which would be keen if were serene, not sufferingÂ
To live is to sufferÂ
You must sufferÂ
We must suffer, to practice joy.Â
The world we share, the way it seems
Nightmare in flux with lucid dreamsÂ
The moments of lucidity turned cryptic with the more you see
You lose your place oh so subtly…
The information is cluttering…
I’m stuttering in my routine, which would be keen if were serene, not sufferingÂ
To live is to sufferÂ
You must sufferÂ
We must suffer, to practice joy
Fantasy within your palm; like sand it slips through cracks, it’s goneÂ
You can’t consciously do something wrong
In stasis eons aren’t too longÂ
Perception is a fragile thread; transparent hue of spider web
You play too rough the beauty’s dead but tread too light and lose your headÂ
R.E.M with open eyes, frantically searching floors and skiesÂ
You empathize with the fate of flies, you fear you’ll share the same demise.Â
Fade away so suddenly…
No regrets for muttering…Â
Mind buffering mortality, must find the gleam that hides within your sufferingÂ
To live is to sufferÂ
You must sufferÂ
We must suffer, to find the true joy.Â
