LUCKY PETE

LUCKY PETE

This is a tale of a guy named lucky Pete
He was a fortunate man who lived on easy streetĀ
This guy backed winners on the horse trackĀ
Pete was never in the red and always in the blackĀ

If there was a raffle you could always guaranteeĀ
This man would win whatever the top prize would beĀ
Bingos and lotteries Pete won them all
Remember the saying though pride comes before a fall

Poor Pete happened to meet a man named ShaunĀ
Who happened to be the unluckiest man ever to be born
