LULLABYE

        there was nobody
                home
         to rock the baby
         did the baby cry
         we cannot know
       there was nobody
                there
              to care.

A Lonely Journey

Marionette,
You have a brilliantly creative mind...can I borrow it? Just until Tuesday, I have a creative sleeping seminar, then I'll return it.

'I was once walking through the forest alone, and a tree fell in front of me...I didn't hear it.' - Steven Wright. lol.

Awesome mind, my friend! Truthful, sad, and smart.

Matthew.

My Dear Marion,

So succinctly have you said so much.

In just a few words
Our poet rocks the cradle
For the dear baby

All my love,
Larry xxx

Ha...hi Larry, the meaning is not too clear here so glad you understood. I was trying to convey the sheer lack of 'nothingness' that can overwhelm in the deepest agonies of mental health issues. A numbness and deadness that sets in untill the person is completely lost and unable to care for their own 'inner baby' and is too far gone to even care. Terrible to witness and experience. Thankyou my friend ?
