Madness

This crushed rock heart of mine

Is cemented together through time

It appears tender at first glance

Yet it is petrified by too much romance

Romance that is bashed and slashed

Through the ages of me

So as I approach fifty

I require little else in my little world

Except for one thing...... I know.......a girl!
