Magical Attraction

Huge chrysanthemum

Habituates her brain,

Her thoughts, her actions

Are all petals vibrating serene.

She grew up as a flower

Her intuition is the cup of Heaven

In the shadow

Her head - a chrysanthemum

Is glowing pale and yellow,

Her face and neck are blue

As the untouched yet sky.

From above

A hummingbird gently picks

From distant skies;

It is just a man in disguise

Who thought to reach the suave flower

In promise of love and power.

Magical Attraction

Of opposites,

Of elements which tell

In their embodiment

A story that spurs in its refinement.

Like the chrysanthemum,

Like the hummingbird

And earth and sun

That attract each other

And like a human to another,

We live the rule of complementaries

That complete each other

Like the common one and the other.

Pale yellow and deep blue

At the heart of my view,

I take my paints

And I enter the mystery

Of translating this image

Into a still-life coverage.
