Mam & Dad ❤️💙

Mam & Dad ❤️💙

I write a line and then I think of another

Trying to reminisce my dear Father and marvellous Mother

But both of them left me such a long time ago

Though their memories live on forever amidst my heart that I know..

There are some special things that I shall never ever forget

As my recollections are so clear amidst my mindset

I can still hear the sweet sound of my Mother’s singing

And remember the love in my Father’s eyes that her memories was bringing..

Mam used to sing all her old songs and I would try to harmonise

As my dear old Dad sat smiling with teardrops in his weary eyes

My Father had a massive insufferable stroke you see

And for those seventeen sad years dear old Dad was speechless and as paralysed as can be...
