the man in the doorway

You see the person on the street
Sadly looking for things to eat
Having to route around in bins
No one deserves that
Whatever they're sins
You see that person on their own
No one to talk to to hear their moan
Looking so cold longing to be warm
Looking so damp from that storm
Homelessness is awful
And it's growing all the time
A hurrendous cycle
That often ends in crime
If you have a warm house
Then thank your lucky stars
Not everyone has luxuries
Like heating food and cars
Don't just laugh and call them tramps
Who are we to diss
We don't know Their story
Ignorance is bliss

Hi Sarah people can't help their situation . You need to reach out and lend a hand and have a kind heart . I am grateful I have a roof over my head . Too many people are not grateful. A great write all stars for me :) cheers
Good write Sarah, I appreciate everything I worked hard for and I never look down on anyone, for we all come from different backgrounds and deal with life differently, some people are very misfortunate and I try to help whenever I can. Well done Allstars.
Thankyou xx it's awful to see people so desperate :( x
What a lovely write Sarah and so very agreeable. No one deserves that, and we can make a change. Enjoyed the read here, very thought provoking
