Poem -
Man the destroyer
Man he is so cleverÂ
Or that is what he thinks
But what he doesn't seeÂ
Mother earth is on the brink
He's fished her seas to near empty
Burnt her forests down
And still he keeps destroyingÂ
It really makes me frown
The weather is in chaos
Half of animals extinct
Man is actually
More stupid than he thinksÂ
In the end he will have nothing
To rule over at all
Just an empty wastelandÂ
As man's a greedy fool

Such wise words and sadly they are very real problems. Humans are so selfish and are destroying the only home we all have and it`s a great shame that they don`t learn the lessons of the past. Maybe one day we will finally realize what we are doing to the planet and start to protect it instead of destroying it. Well done for a beautiful well meaning and well written piece, it was an enjoyable and informative read. You are very talented sweetie.
