Poem -

WE...HUMANITY

I cannot separate myself
For I am you
I do not align myself with thee
For I am me
And so my heart breaks
For we
I cannot identify with you
Yet I am you
I do not care for what you are
I care greatly what you do
I wish you to be gone
Then I would vanish too
For you are you
And I am me
And I'm filled with shame
For we.

Hey MARION!!......the subtle cleverness here is quite compelling...... the struggle between 'individuality' and being a part of the collective whole is something not often drawn in poetic prose!!..... I enjoyed the read VERY much...... succinctly powerful dear poet sister!!......ALL STARS!!..... LOVE and ROCKETS!!.....T xo ?✳✴♥☀??

Thankyou Tony, that is such a fabulous comment as that is exactly what I was trying to convey as I feel completely alienated...yet also at one with this world, the only world iv got...particularly on issues of animal cruelty....thanks so much for the feedback ?
