MANNERS

MANNERS

Do people in my town use manners anymore?
Like giving up a seat or opening a door
Do they only say please when they want something bad
Thank you is never used which drives me mad

Manners don't cost much the old saying goes
But where have they gone nobody knows
My town I'm sure is not the only mannerless town
All over the world I'm sure manners are on the way down

Try some manners dear friends and you will see
What a better world this would turn out to be
