MANY MOONS AGO ( this for Jill tait moon challenge)

MANY MOONS AGO ( this for Jill tait moon challenge)

Many moons ago
the world was safer
place and cleaner place
Many moon ago they
sit by the fire in the moon
Light look up at the stars
Many moons ago the
environment on earth
was cleaner and space
and universe was cleaner
Many moons ago
People cared and did something
about it but as moons went by
no one seem to care  then one
Day a little girl came along
and tried wake up the world
No one want to listen
who is this girl Greta Thunberg
she opened eyes to what is going on
gov around the world don't seem to
care they trun there backs and let go
but many moons ago the world was better
place many moons ago

Greg,
Fantastic write, my friend! Honestly. I know we've been kidding a lot, but sometimes you have to stop, and take a look around, and recognize the beauty we've been handed, and how we've done wrong with it. Pearls before swine.
Excellent writing!! Great idea!

Matthew.

I did see it, Greg! It was fantastic! I love the night sky, it's an amazing thing. It just awes me that there's a giant, round rock sitting up there reflecting the sun, and having an effect on our gravity! Outer space, for me, reminds me that something other than a 'big bang' created this incredible existence.
Thanks,
M.

Hey GREG!!.... I'm so glad to see that you got so much response to this poem!!......I also like the fact that you stressed how much cleaner all aspects of this planet used to be.... we often forget all that!!.......ALL STARS!!.... well done dear poet brother!!....... smiles.......T xo. : )
