Marigolds

Slowly from the earth,
The marigold rises,
Careless of the roaring wind,
Bringing hotness in the air.

Love is in the sky,
Floating beneath the galaxy,
The stars shining,
Peacefulness tonight.

The marigolds dance,
Waiting for the memories,
Passing by the dreams,
Towards the calming sea.

The lonely road we walk,
Down from heaven,
The promised paradise,
Not in sight.

Still, the marigolds dance,
Amid judgements,
Singing the morning chime,
Forwarding the hands.

The dimming light,
Time flies by,
Not looking back,
To a distanced past.

Like the marigolds,
Blooming slowly…
