Poem -
Marvellous creature
I never thought
It existed
I was not ought
To know.
I could not believe
What I had seen
Was real.
Astonished
Amazed
Speechless
Dazed.
I had never seen anything
Like it before
I was just driving
Down the road
It was a pigeon
As proud as a peacock
with a slice of bread
Around his throat.
