Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins

I wish I was Mary Poppins
I’ve always wished that I could fly
To click your fingers & magically
Tidy things
I’d love that & thats no lie

Her handbag is amazing
Filled with the funniest of oversized things
It is brimming with the impossible
& her umbrella is a bird with wings

Such a brilliant family film
An excellent remake of the last
I remember enjoying the first one
Though fifty four years has passed

Everyone loves Mary Poppins
Children & adults too
If you haven’t seen it yet
I recommend that you do

Such brilliant animation
So colourfully shown
Shes still the nanny to the children
Though Jane & Michael have grown

I watched it recently with my family
We had a wonderful day
I have to agree with Mary Poppins
She is β€˜Practically perfect in every way”?
