Poem -

~Maybe I love the sea~.

Have you ever starred Straight into your own eye's of pain, refusing to acknowledge they are there Again, must the heart always stain Must we fight forever Within what remains hating the tears as they fall Wishing they weren't there Never to hurt at all Maybe I love the sea Because of my fault years The taste of this hell All those salty tear's I stood fast I never ran away I just drowned Love faded away Here I sit not moving A single thing Counting my scares Your offering Refusing to see me at all Refusing to watch them fall Closing my eyes and heart Contemplating nothing Nothing at all.
