Meandering meadows💕

I stroll amongst yon magical meadows meandering along
Listening to distant Lambs a’bleating as I subconsciously sing a song
“One man went to mow” this is what I sing
How very aptly perceptive as my senses swallow up everything..
Oh but the sheer joyfulness of these green and pleasant lands
As I watch a Farmer shepherding his flock of Suffolk ewes whistling his sheep dog commands
And although I adore walking those sweeping seaside salty sands
Why on earth would I need to travel when I have local countrysides at my hands?
There are luscious green grassy fields all around me as I hear a Bull boisterously bellow
I marvel at the brightness of the planted Oil seed rape that has turned a mellow yellow
So I have soaked up the sunshine on a Springtime late afternoon
I really must make a move coz that duskiness will be waking up good ole Mr. Moon...

Another beautiful escape. I can always rely on you Jill to provide a snug place to sit and ease my mind. Although rape seed crops give me allergies 🤧 but I felt so much warmth in the lovely write. I use to sing that song too “One man went to mow” 😊 Fab stuff ❤️
