Mechanically Malfunctioning

I need to be reset, I'm out of sync with reality, sound is irregular as voices echo before humans speak, scenery disintegrates beneath.
The grass once green now falls so obscene, crumbling into piles of one's and zeros, tormented trees stare back at me as I try to build particles of oxygen to breath.
History, now blank space, for my CPU lays waste behind my mechanical face. I'm officially out of touch with what you all perceive as earth bound, I'm just a broken antenna receiving a numbing sound.
Dormant I lay upon the street as my feet melt into yellow lines leading me into repeat. When I wish to be alone I'm confronted by a thousand eyes, judging me, picking me up from the crusted rust of this desolate stellar tomb, tossing me into broken charms.Β
Alarms scream as the converbelt rolls on rumbling pins, and I, a pile of broken steel, primed to be recycled dreams of a human being who can never seem to understand his place within an absent gods grace.Β

Hi Gerard..this piece speaks so clearly to me of a soul,Β aligning itselfΒ with theΒ inert unfeeling, unknowing machinery and expressing the frustration feltΒ with the life being lived but fruitlessly yetΒ still endlesslyΒ seeking to find the meaning to ..well...anything ..and everything!Β I have pinned this for future reading because I think we all experience something similar to this at times throughout our livesΒ and that isolation makes us feelΒ alone..but its good to know others experience this also - excellent write Gerard thank you for sharing
Lodigiana xx
Thank you Iodigiana for understanding this piece, your comment speaks volumes to me and although I have brought comfort to you, I must admit, your words have brought a great deal of comfort to me. Its good that we can be alone together, lying amongst the broken interface of earth's disgrace. Thank you.Β
You are very welcome xx
