Poem -

The Medicine Addict

Stumble to your sanctuary,

And watch as the burns fade to scars.

Fall into the rich Melody,

Let him capture your regrets.

An ear to your confessions and rage,

His notes provide clarity.

Stripping you of the roots that once kept you bound,

And repairing your torn stability.

Always composed, always smiling,

But can't you taste the tears?

Only words can dig up your buried past,

And haunt your awareness.

Yet strength dawns from Rhythm,

Who is concealed, though constant.

He is your imperative gravity,

Extracting the poison that led you astray.

The final note strung, the last key played,

Only nature's mender cures such tangled promise.
