Meet in the Middle

She yells out “he is sexist,” as her life raft begins to sail,

While he enjoys the privilege of the disposable male.

Held back by her gender, all the women hear her quip,

As all of their husbands go down with the sinking ship.

He complains to his colleague as they sit down at the bar,

That his succubus ex wants to buy a brand new car.

She is wasting all his money, draining all his booty,

The cost of abandoning his paternal duty.

He is told of all his privilege, it is screamed in his ear,

You need more women in your party if you want to get in here.

He feels he doesn’t have it, he is told that it is true.

I’m been punished for the things that other white men do.

The stereotypes run rampant and so enemies we are,

Disdain for one another, hatred near and far.

So lets not judge each other before the day we meet.

I have more in common with you, than I have with the elite.
