Melancholy Smiles

Great drops of misery trickled down her face; the malicious rain cloud in her fallacious mind let loose its turbulent nature. Sinking.

Brick by brick, her cordial world came crushing down. Erasing the elements of elation as abjection replaced it. Misery takes hold and abolishes the vibrancy of her ideal world, creating an aura of grey around her, the vile mist which would refuse to rise. 

Numbness, desolation, despair; conceal the joy in her pretty cinnamon eyes. Drowning in the burdens life has thrown at her, gripping her by the neck and suffocating her, a brutal punishment for her existence. She felt the tremendous weight on her shoulders, unable to catch her breath.

Defeated. 

Wondering what it's like to feel again. The ravishing smile slipped of her face, begging to return but this cruel world has caused it to vanish. Promising her hurt and anguish. Calamity has swallowed her up making her fall deeper into the pit of catastrophe.

Motivation deteriorating. The simple things exhaust her heavy, broken soul. Your words tore her fragile into little shreds. Pain flowing through her veins. Her lungs inhale words of self-destruction. 
The silence roars in her ears. Afraid she'll never be able to surrender this never ending battle.

So instead she paints a melancholy smile and hopes no one acknowledges the hell shes living in.
