Mellow yellow moon 🌕

As I caught glimpses of his gloriousness looking so bright blue

There he was up in the highest heavens looking down on you

And as I watched him, he was watching me..could you be watching him too?

He was shining so brightly as I stood staring starry-eyed by my garden gate

With his head tipped and toppled in such a sleeplessness state

But I marvelled at this mysteriousness full of one’s sheer destiny and fate

When yet again he made me think of you, were you still wide awake? coz it was getting late

Well though Mr.Moon could not reassure me of your whereabouts, so I knew I had to wait

Alas I couldn’t get a wink of kip underneath that marvellous moonlight

As my manic mind moved  in and of cruel curiosity, “Were you feeling alright?”

Was it that big old moons fault that I was in such an awful plight?
