MELTING AWAY
I feel like I am letting everyone down
For all the selfless ones whom have cared for me
What could I possibly have to offer at this point
Except my personal state of misery
I wake up and attempt to convince myself
One day I will have a purpose in this life
Until the next day when I awake and realize
I would rather run away or die
So everyone else can be happy without me
As a burden and not being able to provide
A normal life for such loving people I know
This is the worst feeling in the entire world
I want to be free from this depression
That suppresses me from believing
In anything and everything but me
