MELTING WALLS

MELTING WALLS

MELTING WALLS

When the temperature in the room reaches hell forbidden degrees,

I can feel the melting of my walls!

And what lies behind my walls is the mir reason

That I've forbidden my walls to fall!

My fear of my all being exposed in the wilderness;

As I lay uncovered in my shameful nakedness.

Have I been running from what lies on the other side of my walls…

Or have I been walking blind-folded inside the temple

Of my own vessel?

The picture that I painted of myself to be this fly guy…

Now looks more like tie-dye.

And I've died trying to piece together pieces of a puzzle

That wasn't meant to be tied (man I'm tired)!

My boiling point has finally arrived and needless to say,

Right on time!

Lord knows that I've been tested and tried

And the only thing left for me now, is to apply it!

So, to my mirror; mirror of melting walls…

I no longer desire to be the freshest of them all!

The goal that I aim for takes faith to see…

The mirror image of Christ…

Melting the walls inside of me!

I like this your reference to walls, that painful mirror, christ and the human mission to be good. Nice.
