Can you see me penning poetry from amidst my minds eye?

This is such a love of mine, it whiles away the hours as time passes by

I write for my readers, I am not a famous poet and I never will be but I endeavour to try..

Alas t’was many moons ago when you both sadly had to go

I guess I will have changed somewhat from that young lass you used to know

I miss you each and every day Oh how I still love both of you so

Time has never, ever healed the pain of losing you and those floods of teardrops still flow..

Never-the-less Mam and Dad I will always wonder if you are both okay 

I imagine you are watching over me from up a height so very far away

Up above our canopy of clouds that float along each and every single day

Where I look up to the twinkling starry skies holding my memories of you as I kneel down and pray..

Oh how I wish that there was visiting hours up in heaven, Wow wouldn’t that be good

Coz I’d climb up the highest heights just to see you both if only I could

I bet you are top of the pops out of all the other angels and have gained a scholarship sainthood
