Memories Snatched

Memories Snatched

When things around me were dark and dull
I had some memories to cherish
Close to my heart, they were my only consort
Something that could never perish.

Some moments beautifully captured
Some tears hidden in glorious smile
Some pictures close to my delicate heart
Some gems stored in my treasure file.

My only companions which made me smile
The jewels of my dark dull day
They were so precious to my heart
One night they all were snatched away.

Here I sit morning over the loss
With no hope left in my heart
Can anyone give me my memories back
When everything here is falling apart.
