Mercedes garage

Well what a tedius day I’ve had
My cars not feeling very well
Tho it is an automatic
It wasn’t changing gears I could tell

So I took it to the local garage
I was told I’d get a courtesy car on the phone
But after they made me a cuppa coffee
I was left unattended all alone

Would you credit it, I’d sat over two hours
In the showroom in Mercedes
Staff kept ignoring me whilst passing
Especially all of the ladies

Seemingly there wasn’t a courtesy car available
Yet my husband pays for this service
I sat eyeing the new cars that were saleable
Just sitting next to them made me nervous

Shiny, spanking brand new Mercedes
Each with a unique speculation
Dam how I wish I owned one of those
But that would never happen, damnation

I had my beady eye on a brilliant blue saloon
It completely blew me over
If that was mine I’d be over the moon
Crikey me I would think I was in clover

But it’s never gonna happen
Hubby won’t buy a new one
He only goes for second hand
Nevermind all I can do is dream
Unless I am given a magic wand

Anyways after all that waiting
I just had to drive mine away 
They said they have ordered a new part
But it won’t come in till another day

So my engine management light
Is telling me there’s something wrong
But the parts on its way to the garage
They say it won’t be very long

If they ring me again in the morning
Telling me the new part is there
If I have to sit another two hours
I will be pulling out my hair!!
