Mercy, mercy

Like 1 Pin it 0The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want
No matter how many people I have hurt
Regardless of my sins
That which is brought to the table
The apostles sitting beside one other
Tasting the wine
Breaking the bread
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I say to you in the dark, my killer
The knife that you brought to me
That you placed into my chest
Brought scars to my body
Emotions to my eyes
When you cut deep inside
Placing me before the Lord
Upon my knees begging
Mercy, Mercy
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lord, I am a beggar in the garden of Gethsemane
Homeless and homeward bound
For these thousand years and more
Searching for who I am
Upon the mount of olives
Picking the fruit
In the hot sun
Dying before thee
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want

What's up Jai, awesome biblical write man. I truly enjoyed. Much respect to you brother, Peace.
Morning Devon;
thank
u - I have no idea why I wrote the poem
I just wrote it, Its kind of weird to be
on automatic but I think creative writing
can do that, I have heard others talk
of automatic pilot. All the best Jai :)
I know exactly what you mean, I wrote one yesterday and a few lifetime lol. I think it's great like the possessive pen has a mind of it's own. I think we can relate it to a dream like state where whatever ideas are flowing quite often in your mind it catches on to that theme and creates a story on it's own. It is pretty cool to see something come to life when staring at a blank title-less paper and you make something magical.
A bit like driving one's motor vehicle
and arriving without much thought
until the police officer tells you
Were speeding! OuCh
Hahaha! Yeah kinda like that.
