Metamorphosis

Sharpness had goneĀ

All blunt to the boneĀ

Fruitlessly extracting blood from the stoneĀ

Understand what it’s like to be aloneĀ

No more wasted hasteĀ

A lot more time to takeĀ

Take the space to make sure I’ve truly grownĀ

It’s a necessity to be on my ownĀ

A reverberated innate popĀ

As the key undone the lockĀ

Rendezvous to inner wealthĀ

More than happy being by myselfĀ

That beautiful phrase ā€œas the key undone the lockā€, it seems to me that the Poet is on his way to enlightenment. I am happy to hear that. Good to have you writing again, Thomas. Warm wishes, BĀ
