The Mind

What goes through that head?

Is it sin, is it death?

Are the thoughts of your fathers,

Poison to you, dear daughters?

When love is in the distance,

Do you chase it, do you wait for it?

Do you embrace these savage beasts with a smile,

Because you long for somone to, with you, walk that extra mile?

If your hands are clean,

what thoughts go through thee?

Are your lies just as glass

As your actions?

When pain comes at you,

Do you duck, cry and hide?

Do you go forward and fight?

What goes through your mind?
