THE MIRACLE

She enters the room
eyes slightly red with sleep yet alert.
Her jaw is slacken yet set with determination.
Pain and tension punch at her
through the air.
All present are reverent as she quickly
goes about her work.
Everything is prepared and laid out.
Instructions have been followed to the letter.
No matter how many times she has been
through the ritual, she never thinks of it as being anything less than sacred.
She removes her coat, washes her hands, and walks over to the bed.
She says a silent prayer to the Creator and her spirit guides.
She lays a healing comforting hand on the swollen mound of pain.
The woman opens her eyes and manages a weak smile through contorted lips.
Her eyes tell everyone it is time.
She removes her hand
spreads the woman’s legs,
places both hands on the stomach, and says,
“Let the miracle begin.”

A perfect poem dedicated to those hands of caring and healing, miracles exist and they can be any less sacred thing, there have always been people with grace that can heal and relieve pain just with the touch of his hands, the unknown, the inexplicable is called miracle, back is the mind and its power, it can heal the sick or get sick as healthy. There are miracles that go unnoticed by the everyday, a miracle is the fertilization of life and also the time of delivery.
Greetings and welcome to Cosmofunnel, I love the poem.
Hello Angel,
