Mirror, mirror on my wall đź’•
Mirror, mirror on my wall take me back to when I was small
Fresh of fresh and wrinkle free, those days when nothing bothered me
Yet that was over fifty years ago when I was only ten or so
Going to school everyday apart from weekends with fun and play
Mirror you have watched me change from a cheerful child, how very strange
But there was you watching me change as my face did rearrange
Each and every day I looked into you doing, all the little things that one does do
Brushing my teeth and combing my hair, and through the timelessness of time tho I wasn’t that aware
You saw me age with little creases here and there with that silvery white colour of my hair
Tho you never said a word when my moans and groans would be heard
As  I often tried my very best to hide the aging what a pest
Applying makeup to my face to mask the years and give it grace.
Yes my mirror, mirror on the wall I now realise that you have seen it all
Yet those wrinkles that I tried so hard to hide when I looked in my reflection, you never, ever lied
So magic mirror no matter what I do, there is no way of fooling you
